Pinealon and Short Bioregulator Peptides
By the APL Research Team · Updated
Pinealon (Glu-Asp-Arg) belongs to the same Russian gerontology lineage as epithalon: ultra-short synthetic peptides the Khavinson school terms 'bioregulators', hypothesised to interact with cellular machinery in tissue-specific ways.
The bioregulator hypothesis
The claim is bold: specific tri- and tetrapeptides modulating gene expression with tissue selectivity — pinealon associated in that literature with neuronal-cell models, epithalon with pineal/telomere work. Mechanistic proposals include direct peptide-DNA interaction, which mainstream literature treats as unproven and worth testing.
The research opportunity
As with epithalon, most primary data comes from one research lineage — making independent replication both the obvious criticism and the obvious project. Tripeptides cost little, handle easily, and a clean replication (positive or null) is publishable science.
Handling
Extremely robust molecules; standard protocol is generous overkill. Ours ship verified with batch COAs.
